Hobart Humane Society at Critical Low for Food

From Humane Society of Hobart: July is over and we too suffer from the "dog days of summer." Our supply of donated dog/puppy, cat/kitten food has dwindled to a critical low. We are experiencing an inordinate number of "owner surrender" due to the economy, and the number of strays arriving from both Porter and Lake Counties is at an all time high. Donations of Purina (or other) dry dog/puppy chow as well as cat/kitten chow will be greatly appreciated. Donations may be brought to the Humane Society of Hobart, 2054 East State Road 130, Hobart, Indiana any day between noon and 4:00 PM (also our web site http://www.hobarthumanesociety.org lists items from our "wish list.")

Upcoming event -- Humane Society of Hobart is holding a Used Book Sale at the shelter September 6th and 7th
