Helpful Tips:
Peel a banana from the bottom and you won't have to pick the little "stringy things" off. That's how the monkeys do it!
Take your bananas apart when you get home from the grocery store. If you leave them connected, they ripen faster.
Store opened chunks of cheese in aluminum foil. It will stay fresher longer.
Peppers that have 3 bumps on the bottom are sweeter and better for eating
Peppers with 4 bumps on the bottom are firmer and better for cooking
Add a tsp of water to ground beef when frying. It pulls the grease away from the meat.

To make a great taco filling that won't fall out of the shells, add 1/3 cup of quick cooking oats to each pound of ground beef as you brown it. Season as usual
Canned chicken broth adds great flavor to most any vegetable. When cooking, use broth instead of water.
