A private island in Ireland once owned by John Lennon and Yoko Ono is on sale for $384,000 or 300,000 euros. Before Lennon was killed in New York in 1980, he had plans to build a home on Dorinish Island in Clew Bay in the county of Mayo. He reportedly bought it for $2,700 or 1,700 pounds in 1967. Ono sold the 21-acre property, sometimes called "Beatle Island," to local farmers in 1984, Bloomberg reported.
