In Michigan City, four teenagers have been arrested and charged regarding a home robbery Thursday morning in the 300 block of East 10th. Police report at 2:45am a woman answered a knock at her door and discovered a 16 year old female who is a friend of her daughters. Police say the woman let her in the house but she was immediate followed by two males, one who appeared armed. The male subjects demanded items from the home and then fled on foot. Two males and the 16 year old female were later located by police in the 500 block of East 10th and taken in for questioning and a search warrant of that residence allegedly turned up items listed as stolen and a handgun matching the description of the one used in the robbery. Police say an investigation determined another suspect had fled the robbery scene and he was later arrested and charged. Three of the four suspects are juveniles but are being charged as adults.
