Packed House Hears Testimony on Proposed Marriage Bill

The Indiana House Chamber, gallery and hallway was full of Hoosiers opposed to the proposed marriage amendment this morning as the House Judiciary Committee listened to testimony. State Representative David Niezgodski says also on the agenda is House Bill 1153, which Republicans say clarifies the amendment's language in case of a court challenge.
Representative Niezgodski called House Bill 1153, “highly unusual and unnecessary” and says he is confident the proposed marriage bill would be challenged if it passes.
