Clerk Threatened at LaPorte Pantry

Police in LaPorte are seeking the public's help to locate a man who threatened a clerk at LaPorte Pantry. LaPorte Police report the incident occurred around 11am this morning. The clerk informed officers a man and a woman came into the store, went to the cooler aisle and stood in front of the open cooler door. According to the police report, after spending some time there, they exited the store using a perimeter aisle, without buying anything. Police say the clerk, who thought their actions were suspicious, asked the pair if they had taken anything. At that point the female left and the man began to yell at the clerk over the accusation and allegedly threatened clerk that if he came outside after work he'd kill him.
Police describe the suspect as a white male, in his late 20's to 30's, 5'6” to 5'7”, with a medium build, short blonde hair, with a tattoo on his neck and wearing a Budweiser jacket and blue jeans.
