Three Willowcreek Middle School students were arrested on Friday on charges that include misdemeanor possession of marijuana and dealing marijuana on school property, a felony. Portage Police report an officer was informed upon arrival that a 7th grade student was possibly in possession of marijuana and may have sold the drug to another student. After questioning the student, and upon patting his pockets, the officer reportedly found three clear plastic baggies containing marijuana and a ten-dollar bill. Police report one student had allegedly sold the drug to another student for ten-dollars, who in turn gave the drug to another student to hold for him because he was worried he'd be caught with it. All three students were taken to the Porter County Juvenile Detention Center and an investigation continues into where the student got the marijuana.
