Facebook agreed today to delete posts from users selling illegal guns. ABC News reports a Facebook post last February caught the eye of prosecutors: "Guns for sale," it read. "No background." New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says it has been too easy for sellers to break the laws of certain states, as up until now you could go onto Facebook and find people promising to sell assault weapons with no background check. Facebook has agreed to delete such posts and issued a statement saying, "when people connect through our services we want them to communicate freely we also want them to be in a safe and responsible environment." Facebook's Monika Bickert says the posts about gun sales will be off limits to minors.
