Registration for Chicago Marathon Pushed Back

For the second time in two years registration for the Chicago Marathon has been put on hold. ABC News reports runners were supposed to be able to sign up online starting today, but that's been pushed back two weeks because organizers say they need to do a comprehensive assessment of the new registration process. Last year the online registration system crashed, and was out of commission for nine days, before the final 15 thousand runners were able to get signed in. About 45-thousand runners take part in the Chicago Marathon, which this year will be held October 12th.
