Over 30 Hurt in CTA Derailment

In Chicago early this morning, a CTA Blue Line train derailed, injuring over thirty people. It happened around 3 am.  The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening according to the latest reports.  Officials say the train jumped a bumping post at the station linking Chicago O'Hare International airport. Fire commissioner Jose Santiago says the train "actually climbed over the last stop, jumped up on the sidewalk and then went up the stairs and escalator." Officials say the train jumped a bumping post at the station linking the airport.  The train operator did not appear to be injured.
