Authorities say a body found in Colorado has been identified as an Indiana doctor who went missing March 14th on a hiking trip with friends near Vail. 39-year-old Dr. James McGrogan, originally from Chesterton, was reported missing after he became separated from his group while hiking to the Eiseman Hut. The Eagle County Sheriff's Office says three skiers discovered McGrogan's body in an ice fall below Booth Falls Thursday afternoon. Booth Falls is about four and a half miles east of the trail that leads to the Eiseman Hut, and area that was searched by aviation and ground crews. Police say search and rescue efforts were called off after an exhaustive search over five days with no clues to aid in finding McGrogan. McGrogan had recently moved back to the Hoosier state with his family and started a new job at St. Joseph Medical Center in Mishawaka.
