Public Meetings Planned for Valpo Schools Input

At least three public meetings are being planned to get input from the community on what's needed for a 21st Century Education for Valparaiso grade schoolers and high school students. A few weeks ago School Superintendent Michael Berta was asked by the Valparaiso School Board to propose some ideas, and he has suggested a new Valparaiso High School, along with turning Central Elementary into the administration center, and transforming the current high school into a building that would house an intermediate school for 5th and 6th graders, and the Porter County Career and Technical Center, and also a senior center.
