Two LaPorte teens were apprehended after an alleged robbery attempt at Little Caesar's Sunday night. LaPorte Police report they responded to the 24-hundred block of Monroe Street just after 10pm. Police report an employee told officers he had just locked the front door when he observed two males standing just outside the door, one of which was wearing a mask and holding a handgun. Police report the two suspects fled after the door would not open. A 17 year old male was later apprehended in a yard in the 24-hundred block of Monroe Street, while the other suspect, identified as 18 year old Nicholas Anderson, was apprehended at an apartment house in the 500 block of Harrison Street.
Police say they recovered a large knife and a large bb-gun, along with other property allegedly abandoned by the suspects, and an investigation continues.
