The Centers for Disease Control originally reported that on April 24th, the patient traveled from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to London and then O'Hare International Airport where he reportedly took a bus to the Highland area.
According to the CDC, most of the passengers who flew aboard the patient's flights or rode the bus have been contacted and none are reported to have any symptoms of the disease. Meanwhile, hospital staff who may have handled the case remain in temporary home isolation and are being closely watched for any symptoms.
The Times is also reporting that the Indiana State Department of Health have closed the MERS hotline, as calls have fallen off significantly.
