John Bryan, Indiana Homeland Security District One Administrator is in charge of Lake, Porter, Newton and Jasper Counties and to help people prepare for a disaster,  in their community or region wide, FEMA is funding the "Get Up, Get Ready Emergency Awareness" campaign.  The outreach program has already visited Hobart and Gary and will be at Valparaiso's Famer's Market 8a.m. to 3p.m. Tuesday, June 26th at Central Park Plaza downtown and at the Railcats game 7p.m. Tuesday night at U.S. Steel Yard.
