For much of the afternoon drive time the traffic lights at the intersection of US-30 and Mississippi St. was literally "stuck" in flash mode for around two hours this afternoon causing tremendous backups in all directions including US-30 and Randolph, US-30 and Colorado, US-30 and Broadway even US-30 and Taft.  Traffic also backed up onto the southbound I-65 exit ramp to US-30.
