A Gary man involved in a shooting at a Gary gas station, on or about April 3rd of this year, was sentenced to five years in prison on Wednesday. The Lake County Prosecutor's Office reports 30 year old Evan Hodge pled guilty to the felony charge of carrying a handgun without a license. Prosecutor Bernard Carter says Gary Police found that the gun Hodge had in his possession was not licensed.
