The first jackpot winner of the Hoosier Lottery's newest game purchase their winning ticket in Merrillville. Hoosier Lottery officials reported today that the Cash 5 game winning ticket matched all five number's in Thursday's drawing, and was purchased at GoLo, on the six-thousandth block of Cleveland Circle. Officials say the ticket is worth 77-thousand-500 dollars, with the winning numbers being 8, 9, 19, 29, and 39. The jackpot hit came the night before the start of the Hoosier Lottery's “Cash 5 Weekend” promotion, which gives players the chance to win a coupon good for a free Cash 5 ticket with the purchase of any eligible draw game, like Powerball, now through Sunday.
