In Lake Station, the Times today reports part of an older fire station caved in as officials were moving out a truck last night (Wednesday night). The station in the 31-hundred block of East 35^th Avenue is on the west side of the city. Police Chief Kevin Garber tells the Times the front beams of the structure may have collapsed. There were no injuries reported.
