Police in Michigan City say a person of interest has been placed under arrest for unrelated warrants in regards to an alleged rape and aggravated battery incident. Authorities report officers were dispatched to the 200^th block of Gladys Street today for a male subject with stab wounds and a female rape victim, and that both were hospitalized and are in stable condition at last check. Michigan City Police say the incident remains under investigation, and that additional charges against the suspect are expected. No further information is available at this time.
