The Hebron Police Department is seeking the public's help after a dog was found dead in an animal trap near a residence located across from the town's community center earlier this month. Police report the dog, which was a Canaan-breed, was found to have suffocated in a trap that was baited, around 11:30 in the morning on December 8^th, on the six-hundredth block of North Main Street, next to its owner's residence. Hebron Police say an investigation into the incident continues.
