An item with its origins in the Region-based "A Christmas Story" was apparently on a lot of lists this year... Amazon-dot-com says if you stacked every Christmas Story Leg Lamp purchased by Amazon customers this holiday season, the height would reach the top of Mount Everest. On the peak day, November 26, Cyber Monday, the Monday after Thanksgiving, Amazon says customers ordered more than 26-and-a-half-million items worldwide across all product categories -- a record-breaking 306 items per second.
