The Indiana Department of Transportation is reminding Region residents that the Nine-Span Bridge on Indianapolis Boulevard in Hammond is scheduled to close 5:30 am this Monday (Jan 14 2013) to be demolished and replaced by a new bridge that's expected to open by the end of this year.
