The Indiana Court of Appeals has upheld another medical malpractice judgment against the former so-called Merrillville “nose doctor”. Mark Weinberger was sentenced last October to seven years in federal prison for health care fraud. Officials say Weinberger fled the country in 2004, and was found on a mountainside in Italy about five years later. He is reported to be incarcerated at the Metropolitan Correction Center in Chicago.
