One person was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle crash in Pulaski County this morning, south of Francesville.  Deputy William Bryson from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office says a car appears to have run a stop sign on County Road 1600 West at State Road 114, just east of the Jasper/Pulaski County line, at approximately 7-o'clock Eastern Time this morning.  Deputy Bryson says the car struck a semi-trailer from Chicago hauling garbage to a landfill in White County, Indiana.  The driver of the car died at Jasper County Hospital, and police say the semi-driver was treated and released.  State Road 114 was shut down in both directions for nearly six hours for investigation of the accident and clean up of the crash scene.
