Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Annie cannot wait to share her life with you on air and is excited to be back in the Region doing what she loves!

TINA TURNER MARRIES DECADES-LONG BEAU ERWIN BACH

Tina Turner has finally married her decades-long beau, Erwin Back. Turner, 73, tied the knot with the German producer in a civil ceremony in Switzerland. The pair have been together for the past 27 years – and they've lived together in Zurich, Switzerland, for more than 15 years. CHARLIE SHEEN IS NOW A GRANDPA

Charlie Sheen is now officially a grandpa; his 28-year-old daughter Cassandra Estevez just gave birth to a baby girl named Luna. Charlie tells TMZ, "It's impossibly a most wondrous day. My bucket list is a thimble!" The thimble metaphor is subject to interpretation, but it sounds like having a grandchild was one of the biggest items on Charlie's bucket list. In other words, the rest of his bucket list is so small, it's thimble-sized.

While touring Valpo take a trip to our local university. An almost strictly walking campus, it shows a mix of new and old with several buildings as well as the grounds. Visit the chapel or the union to get a feel of the Crusader spirit and values, or visit the Baruer museum in the Valparaiso University Center for the Arts, which is free and is open Tuesday through Sunday noon-5pm. Washington Park Zoo

Right next to lake Michigan in Michigan City Indiana lies our local zoo, go and enjoy looking at all of the wild animals, admission for adults is $6.50 children 3-11 $5.50 and children 2 and under is free. Parking all day at the park also costs $7 but you can take a picnic and enjoy the day at Washington Park and the zoo.

Purdue North Central Sculptures and walking trails

On the way up to Michigan City take a drive through Purdue North Central's campus to see their vast collection of unique sculptures, or take a hike on one of their walking trails to see what nature lies there.
