Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Annie cannot wait to share her life with you on air and is excited to be back in the Region doing what she loves!

Help Team Lady Bugs Walk For MS

Annie's Blog

You can just call us the Ultimate Procrastinators in my household! This is how a conversation went with my mom yesterday:

Mom: “Annie, we need to get everything ready for our yard/bake sale...”

Annie: “What yard/bake sale?”

Mom: “The one we are having Friday!”

Annie: “Um Friday??? We might want to get to work then!!!"

Needless to say, I will be spending the day cleaning out the basement for stuff to sell and I've even recruited my sister and fiance to help bake till we drop after work!

However, it's all for a good cause... all the proceeds will go towards the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. You see my cousin has been battling MS now for a couple of years and we are taking part in the Northwest MS Walk in Wicker Park next Sunday. If you'd like to show your support for Team Lady Bugs, stop by tomorrow between 9a-2p on the corner of Lake Ave and 121st in the Whiting/Roberstale area. If you cannot make it out and want to help us raise money, here's a secure link!

Thanks again for your help in supporting a cause that is close to my heart! Oh, and if you want to walk registration starts 8:30am in Wicker Park Sunday, September 16th! More details here!

The Schererville Parks Department's Evening Under the Stars event is scheduled from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at Redar Park, which is near Austin Avenue and Gregory Street. Bopology will perform swing music during the free event. People attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs because seating is limited. The event would be moved to Grimmer Middle School if there is inclement weather

Americas Got Talent (Spoilers)

Annie's Blog

Did you see the results show on America's Got Talent last night? I'm kinda sad my two favorites didn't make it to the Finals! I loved Academy of Villains and Todd Oliver and his dog Irving! Oh well, here's your Final Three:

William Close (and his giant Earth Harp). "I'm so thankful... I love this show. I'm having so much fun on this show," he said. "This show loves you," said Howie.

Tom Cotter, comedian. "Wow," said Howard. "We're going to have a fabulous, fabulous finale."

It was up to the judges to pick the third finalist...final spot going to Sharon and Howie's pick sand artist Joe Castillo over my boys Todd Oliver and his dog Irving! Boooo one of the only times I agreed with Howard Stern this season!

So who's the big winner? Let us know your opinion on Facebook!
