Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Annie cannot wait to share her life with you on air and is excited to be back in the Region doing what she loves!
Please tell me you remembered to set your clocks ahead one hour this weekend? I had one of those moments where I looked at the clock on Sunday and felt confused! (Nevermind that it was 1pm) First time I have slept that long in ages... I actually felt embarrassed about it! Got some pretty good news this weekend: Rob's brother got engaged... time for a double wedding?!?! (check out the future fam above)
Also, had another funny awkward run in with the in-laws as well! Woke up in Rob's room on Sunday late and overheard them debating if they could open the door or not to the bedroom with me in it! Funny part was they couldn't agree on if I would have clothes on or not! All I could do is laugh and open the door to mumble... “not naked, just outta it from my cousin's wedding!” Definitely a funny exchange, gotta love um! (Glad I have the kinda relationship with them where we can joke!) Just another one of the perks of living at home again with the parents!
Guess there's always the nervous rebel feeling when sleeping at our parents' houses! I mean as an adult I wasn't even allowed to have Rob in my bedroom with the door closed till we got engaged! What are the rules like in your house? Have you ever had those run ins? Feel free to share your stories and comment!
Hope you're having a great start to your week!
