SCANDAL ROCKS THE BIGGEST LOSER! JILLIAN MICHAELS ACCUSED OF BREAKING THE RULES AS ELIMINATED CONTESTANT RUBEN STUDDARD RETURNS TO COMPETITION
After the most recent episode, The Biggest Loser could easily change its name to The Biggest Cheater. On the Nov. 12 episode of the hit NBC show, it was discovered that trainer Jillian Michaels broke the rules of the weight-loss reality competition be handing out caffeine supplements to members of the White Team. Host Alison Sweeney addressed the issue just before the weigh in. “Before you all step on the scale, there is something important that needs to be addressed,” said the former Days of Our Lives star. “Last week, Jillian broke the rules and gave caffeine supplements to each member of her team without a doctor's permission,” said Sweeney. “Before we move on, do you have something you want to say about what's happened?,” asked Sweeney of Michaels. “I stand by my opinion: a caffeine supplement is significantly healthier than unlimited amounts of coffee,” rationalized the 39-year-old personal trainer. “My only regret is that my team are the ones suffering the consequences of my professional opinion,” concluded Michael. Because of the supposed foul play, two major actions went into effect: The White Team was given a four-pound penalty at the weigh-in. But more importantly, last week's eliminated contestant, Ruben Studdard will return to the competition
