Porter County Sheriffs Police say a jogger suffered two broken vertebrae in her neck, a dislocated shoulder and shattered ankle after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Monday night near Chesterton. Public Information Officer Sgt. Larry LaFlower says the 21-year-old female victim was jogging southbound on 200-West near 1039 North in Liberty Township when a northbound vehicle struck her around 9:45 pm. Police say parts recovered at the scene included the outside passenger-side rear view mirror and parts of the headlight assembly, and police are seeking a 92 to 95 Honda Civic.
