Lake County Officer Charged

Published reports say felony charges of possessing cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, and possessing a syringe have been filed against a Lake County Sheriffs officer. The Times today says the charges against 29-year-old Gary Pilipovich follow a search of his Portage apartment last week. A separate search was conducted Friday. Officials tell the Times the officer has been on sick leave for cancer treatment.
