The City of Hobart will be holding its first Annual Water Awareness Festival on Saturday, June 23rd
from 2pm to 4pm at Festival Park in Hobart. Like the name suggests, the city wants to build awareness of storm water pollution and prevention, according to Sherryl Doerr MS-4 Education and Outreach facilitator. The Festival will also feature corn hole games, face painting, and activities for all ages including the judging of a rain barrel painting competition that has been underway about a month. The City Improvement committee will also be selling hot dogs, popcorn and drinks. The festival is sponsored by the Hobart Sanitary/Storm Water District.
