Progress on Vale Park West Pathway

Valparaiso's Board of Public Works and Safety has approved a contract for design work on the Vale Park West pathway. Redevelopment Commission Executive Director Stuart Summers says The Troyer Group will do the federally-required legwork and geo-technical engineering to draw up a pathway that will link several neighborhoods on the west side of Valpo to Campbell Street. Much of the project will be covered by a federal grant. The design work will take the rest of this year, land acquisition is expected to start next year, with construction to start in 2014.
