Water hydrant flushing on the north side of Valparaiso begins Monday, continuing for the next eight weeks, between 8am and 4 pm on weekdays. The area included is north of Evans Avenue and Harrison Boulevard. Residents who see discolored water are advised to run cold water for five-to-ten minutes, and if it continues, to contact Valparaiso City Utilities Customer Service Center.
