A traffic alert for teh city of Laporte...INDOT says crews working along State Road 2, or Lincolnway, in downtown LaPorte, came across a broken pipe at Madison... and that it wasn't really a sinkhole, as was originally thought.  According to INDOT, the majority of the hole was from workers digging out dirt at that location and crews are currently working with the city to make repairs, but there will be a closed lane at Madison and State Road 2 until Monday night we're told.  LaPorte City Police also say Madison Street is closed at that location.
