The Indiana Department of Transportation says a resurfacing project will begin on Calumet Avenue/US 41 in Hammond today. INDOT reports lane closures will take place for southbound Calumet Avenue between 119th and 133rd as crews will be resurfacing the roadway, weather permitting. Also scheduled for today (Monday, October 15th) the Indiana Toll Road in both directions will be reduced to one lane from the Cline Avenue East junction and Grant Street until 3pm that afternoon. As always please use caution while traveling through the construction zone.
