Indiana State Police say minor injuries were reported in a four-vehicle accident, where the vehicles rear-ended each other in the construction zone on southbound I-65 south of the State Road 10 DeMotte/Roselawn exit Sunday afternoon around 3:30 pm.
Police say the accident scene may have looked more serious due to the fact that four ambulances, who were on their way to assist in Hurricane Sandy relief on the east coast through a Homeland Security effort, happened to be driving through the area when the crash happened, and the ambulances stopped on scene.
