The Valparaiso University mens basketball team took the court for a nationally-televised home game early this morning... 7 am CST... the earliest a Crusader game has ever tipped off at the ARC, the university says. The Crusaders took part in the ESPN Tip-Off Marathon for the first time, hosting the Huskies of Northern Illinois live on ESPN and also heard on AM-1500 WAKE and www.wakeradio.com . Final score – Valparaiso 69, Northern Illinois, 46, attendance 2445.
