INDIANAPOLIS - It took only 12 draws for the Hoosier Lottery's newest game, Cash 5, to produce its first jackpot winner and the winning ticket was purchased at a retailer in Merrillville.
The winning ticket, which matched all five numbers in last [Thursday] night's Cash 5 drawing, was purchased at GoLo at 6085 Cleveland Circle and is worth $77,500.
Cash 5, which costs just $1 to play and draws every night, features the best cash odds of any Hoosier Lottery draw game and a jackpot that starts at $50,000. The jackpot rolls, or increases, every day until it is hit.

INDIANAPOLIS - For the sixth time in 2012, the Hoosier Lotto jackpot has been hit - this time via a ticket sold by a retailer in Gary and the owner of the ticket could walk away with as much as $10.5 million.
The winning ticket, which matched all six numbers drawn last [Saturday] night, was purchased at Nagra's Quick Mart at 4321 E. Dunes Highway in Gary.
In addition to last night's hit, five other Hoosier Lotto jackpot-winning tickets have been purchased this year at retailers in Frankfort, Anderson, Columbus, Highland and Shelbyville.
