A Garbage truck fire on northbound I-65, near the exit ramp to I-80/94 is causing traffic headaches for area motorist at last check. INDOT is reporting all lanes of northbound I-65 are moving very slowly near US 30 due to heavy traffic, near mile marker 253, with traffic delays down to 73^rd Avenue, and that all lanes of southbound I-65 are moving very slowly near I-80/94 due to heavy traffic, and to expect delays as you travel southbound on I-65 near mile 258.9. The Times reports the flames were extinguished around 5:15 this evening, and that no one was injured.
